Firstly thanks to all of you who were willing to read that wall of text and left a comment here.

Yes, as it was already answered, my partner is not eligible for ESTA visa and was rejected for B visa. We also checked the transit/C visas, but you need to have a connecting ticket, they are almost the same price as B visa ( 160 USD ) and that leads to easy conclusion - not worth the risk, especially because of the tickets.

I hope it's something that the Oscan look into if they hadn't already.
What does Oscan means? Or who is it?

Whether the ticket allows that depends a lot on the fare basis which will be difficult to establish at this point, though that will be visible to the contact centre agent. It may be easier, though, to put a concrete alternative routing to a contact agent to see what will be allowed.
Exactly. And like I said, you need to show them connecting tickets, so its even more risky to spend money for something they might reject in 5 minutes. ( B visa is 200USD, C visa is 160 USD )

Unfortunately Mexico also requires visa, it was on our top list if we choose the C visa way, but when we found out it also requires visa for my partner, we scratched it.

No matter how I tried, i couldnt find the FARE RULES. How can I found them? All I Have is eticket numbers and PNR. I know you can see the fare code when you are buying the tickets, but after you got the PNR and etickets, i dont see such possibility anywhere. Internet tells me that unless I have access to amadeus, I probably have no chance.

To the OP -- do you have travel insurance that covers such an eventuality?
No travel insurance for such case. Never needed it :/

Tickets were bought through BA website. All flights are IB. First I called IB, because it made the most sense to me, but they said, you didn't buy it through us, you need to contact BA.
