that's interesting - when I go to the website instead of the app, there is no baggage information whatsoever. In any event, I agree and don't anticipate issues with bag allowance.

UPDATE: I called to have the flight sequence corrected for the one ticket that was not automatically re-issued. I had the agent pull up both tickets for comparison and explained the change in fare rules with that occurred to the other ticket during re-issue. He could see that the ticket was originally refunandable (with fee), and that the endorsements were changed in coupon #3 post-schedule change. In the end, he went with the easy-button solution, which apparently was that a supervisor documented the PNR noting that the endorsements are incorrect, and agents should see coupon #1. The cleared upgrades are still intact, so my biggest fear is relieved - and all in all I guess that's a positive outcome.

The issue of the endorsement changing doesn't change the underlying fare rule. When they had to reissue the ticket for an even exchange they have to manually store the fare. Part of that process is putting the endorsements in, and if they didn't look at the fare, or the previous ticket when endorsing it, it's not uncommon that they just chose the nonrefundable endorsement out of habit since that is the case in the majority of even exchanges they do.
