As stated previously, I love L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon which is nearly attached to the hotel but reservation is a must! The restaurants in the GH are expensive (this is Tokyo after all) but not overpriced, IMO. I had a wonderful Kobe steak there and my wife had the broiled lobster which was also superb! The Japanese sushi place is indeed expensive.
Agree that there are very many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. And the Ichiran ramen not too far away is a can’t miss!
If all else fails a Matsuya is a short walk away
