Miraculously I was able to find 3 of the 5 dates I need in March. Just randomly popped up a few hours ago and hurriedly booked it with shaking hands!
That said, a few questions:
- If my flight leaving MLE is at 11pm, will they allow me to stay on property until like 7-8pm day of departure so I don't have to wait too long at the airport? Wasn't sure if the yacht transfer runs at night either.
- If I book 5 nights individually via points, can I call Hilton to string the nights together and refund me the one night cost of 150k for the 1 free night per 5 nights? Or, is that generally not recommended in case the rep you're speaking to makes a mistake and cancels the booking and for whatever reason the availability doesn't pop back into the inventory?
Yes, the hotel will assign you a room on the last day to stay till about 3 to 4 hours before your flight. It's not guaranteed so they'll not commit, but I've never heard of someone not getting a room.
You can't string 5 nights together for the free night. You can take a risk of cancelling and hope it goes back to the inventory so you can book it all at one shot. I personally would not risk it.
