The only flights that I can’t view in the app are NZ domestic flights booked with United miles. Otherwise, no problem.

i need to call in anyway, as only one of the two tickets affected by this most recent change got reissued. The one that did not get reissued is still out of order from the last schedule change- thanks to the dateline they take off from SFO “before” the originating flight leaves ZQN, so the itinerary says “SFO to MCO”. The ticket that got reissued is now back to the correct sequence order and appropriately labeled ZQN to MCO.

Back on the issue of the switcheroo of fare rules, I don’t imagine UA sells a whole lot of one way tickets from NZ to US, but the cheap refundable fares (With $150nzd fee) was a major selling point. It’s a great option to mix a one -way award with a one way revenue return!
