Long award stay recently which was fantastic. I absolutely love this hotel. Upgraded to king pool view room several days out and moved room because WiFi around the hotel is very spotty. Breakfast was somewhat better than previously. I tend to order omelet and it was reliably delicious. Fruit station is very fresh and quite a number of Asian dishes on rotation including daily congee and an Asian vegetarian option. Sosro (Indonesian) tea. Water in rooms switched to refilled glass bottles.

Fewer tour groups, while it was mostly individual/couple/family or small group, there were several days with big business meetings or seminars when the hotel seemed fully booked and breakfast was busy.

They are doing a lot of upkeep maintenance including pruning trees by the pool, painting, internal maintenance and I think the broken tiles in the pool have been repaired.

The pantry and business center have been closed.

Taxi service to the airport can be booked by calling the hotel on arrival - it’s 125K one way. Grab car is incredibly easy as cars pass constantly on way to and from Kuta and the airport. We went to the Lippo mall most days for lunch and the supermarket for about 30k one way.

It is so relaxing here and the pool area is lovely. I can sit for hours outside and enjoy the ambience and weather. The staff are fantastic and the room is a decent size, bed comfortable and really good shower.

They gave us vouchers for drinks at the bar (1 per stay) which was new this time.

I have been looking at points rates and suspect 5K/night will be harder to get in the future but I’ll continue to stay and plan to pay cash if the points rates don’t give me a high enough cents/point redemption value.
