There are lots of nice restaurants near the Grand Hyatt so you should be able to find a nice place to eat in Roppongi. The Grand Hyatt has 4 restaurants of very high quality right in the hotel
That's why I'm asking, the Ginza area (and, frankly, the look of the HC) doesn't excite me at all, and the GH looks quite nice from all the reviews and videos I've watched. The only thing that is weirding me out is all the advice I've seen to avoid the area.
