I have one-way tickets from New Zealand to the US that have had several minor schedule changes since puchasing in Dec (less than 10 minutes). The latest chage was a 6 minute shift that occured this past Friday, 4/14. These were Y tickets upgraded to R (at ticketing) and then cleared to J a day later.
I just realized that the tickets were re-issued each time there was a schedule change, which seems odd for such minor changes. But what is really alarming is that after the tickets were re-issued the fare rules and baggage allowance were changed.

Since I do not intend to cancel, the change from refundable to non-refundable is hopefully not a major concern - but clearly a bait and switch nonetheless. However, some folks in our group are not *G, so the loss of the second free bag might be an issue. Is it worth a call to try and undo United's switcharoo? Or would you leave it alone for fear they'd really screw it up?
