Surprised this hotel doesn't have its own thread, considering it has existed a very long time in Kuala Lumpur.
Some of my impressions after staying here:

Location:

"Bukit Bintang" MRT station (line 9 green color) is a 5 min walk away.
Exit D is the closest to the hotel.

"Bukit Bintang" MONORAIL (MONOREL) Line 8 is also nearby...a tiny bit further than the above mentioned MRT station.

Walking to or from the hotel to either of these stations with luggage is "technically" possible but the streets around here are always so crowded with people shopping it will not be an easy walk at all if you are pulling large luggage....but I guess anyone staying at a Ritz Carlton won't be moving their luggage by public transport.

Elite treatment

As a titanium I got a nice room upgrade to an executive corner room, and a late check out which was appreciated.

Room:

Room had very nice decor, and a bed with a firm mattress which I appreciated. Both walk-in shower AND bathtub in the marble bathroom. However there was no view outside the window, and the air conditioning was not good either, which made it warm and humid in the room.

House keeping

Evening turn down service was done every night

Breakfast

Breakfast was of a high standard with quality food items and lots of choices...however it was very busy as there were many guests ! So I think it's worth paying extra to have it, or alternatively book a room rate that includes it.

Bar

The evening bar serves really well made cocktails

Next door Restaurant in the JW Marriott

My room rate included a 3 course dinner at the "Shook !" restaurant which is reality is next door in the basement of the JW Marriott hotel. This was a disappointing meal. I would have preferred to dine inside one of the restaurants inside the Ritz Carlton hotel directly but it was not clear to me this was an external restaurant when I booked this rate.

Swimming pools

There are 2 separate swimming pools. Neither of which is very big, but still nice to use.

Elevators

Elevators were slow with long waits

Nearby hotels

For those wanting to hotel hop, or do a a mattress run, the Ritz Carlton only 2 min walk away from the Westin and JW Marriott.

There is a covered passageway on the ground floor (street level) of the JW Marriott (inside the small luxury shopping mall) that leads to and from the Ritz Carlton. This covered passageway is one floor ABOVE street level at the Ritz. The indoor passageway is open 24 hours day and comes in handy when it's raining heavily which does almost every afternoon in Kuala Lumpur.

You can also walk outside between the 3 hotels if you want.
