7 hours later same issue with the call centre… couldn’t even get in the queue! Nor could they call me back as my number is outside the ‘North Americas’
I called the general reservations line, was on hold for 40 minutes, I asked them to transfer me to Aeroplan. They did. Initially it was the same IVR, but somehow instead of getting kicked out of the queue I was allowed in!
Another 100 minutes on hold.
The agent I spoke to was great, but couldn’t see the flights I wanted on the Aeroplan website so had to construct the whole ticket segment by segment.
Final call duration was 3hrs 21 minutes. But I got my ticket! (Plus the hours last night

)
