You know, there is a labor contract. Seniority trumps everything else pretty much. The longer you have been a FA, the more you make, the more perks and benefits you have.
And that's the problem: no incentive for good performance. Don't want to get in the debate about whether
unions are a cancer, or a savior, but fundamentally contracts make it hard to help good team members.
