I was so looking forward to the end of fall semester, this commute has been a little bit too overwhelming.. I woke up 345am to catch this 6am flight..
Since it's a Friday, T6 was busier than usual

We had a transportation student holiday mixer that night, and who says I can't social with this commute?? I stayed late enough not to miss out this event, and I left early enough to catch the last flight back to LA..
Left campus around 810pm to catch the 1015pm flight out of SFO..

Thanks to the delay, I left a bit later than scheduled so I could hang out with cohort for a little bit longer
And I even had time to visit the lounge!

Flying to campus to take my final exam. Initially the final time was supposed to be 730pm-930pm, but it would be impossible for me to catch the last flight home if I do that, so I requested taking the final earlier, and our professor was nice enough to reschedule my final..
AS833 to SFO
Upgraded to first class, the seat next to me was inoperable..
Due to SFO flow control, our plane had to go-around during final approach, which added another 15min to the flight time. I was running a bit late (5-10min) for my final, but I made it to campus eventually..

Officially last day of fall semester commute, flying to campus to take my last final. Upgraded to first class. I picked 1A hoping to get a good grade for that class.

I had to rush to catch Caltrain down to SJC since WN doesn't allow co-terminal same day changes and I booked SJC-LAX because it was the cheapest..

And after I exited, the insane traffic pulled me back to reality.. It's the last weekend before Christmas so busiest time of the year.
2 days later, I started my winter break with a trip to Asia. The purpose of the trip was to relax after a long semester of commute, as well as trying some new airlines
90th airline: Breeze, SBD-SFO
91st airline: ZIPAIR Tokyo, SJC-NRT, can't complain too much stuck in a middle seat given the $288 price w/ a checked bag..
92nd airline: Peach, NRT-FUK
93rd airline: Jetstar Japan, FUK-NGO
94th airline: Fuji Dream Airlines, NKM-FUK (yeah doing same day "commute" even within Japan..)
I'm a foodie, of course I won't miss this opportunity to try it all!

95th airline: Amakusa Airlines, KMY-ITM, a niche airline with only 1 aircraft in the fleet. Very interesting one, highly recommend it.

December commute was much cheaper due to less trips (last day of fall semester was Dec 16th). Although December is holiday season, I was still able to get cheap award tickets for the first half of the month by booking in advance. Now I'm finally done with fall semester, I feel nothing other than great relief. I can't believe I went this far! Thanks for reading!
