Follow-up post. So I switched browser from Safari to Chrome, and when the page loaded I briefly saw that my Aeroplan number showed as "AC" under the FFP field before it briefly disappeared and defaulting back to KrisFlyer (and with no option on the dropdown menu to change to any other FFP). So I tried force typing AC into that field, inputted the rest of my pax details and was able to save.
