Everything in Spokane is cancelled today. Only Alaska. Everyone else is flying. Booked a flight to PDX via Oakland on WN while waiting in line - better than being stuck here until tomorrow afternoon, which is the best AS could do for me. Moving from upgraded on AS to C group on WN. Grrr.
Spokane to Portland going south to Oakland would make sense, it's avoiding the band of ash coming down over central Washington state. Thinking of other carriers, if DL is going to SLC, UA is going to DEN, etc they are all going south. AS is the only one trying to go northwest.
