The “trick” really is to keep up with the offers. I check most days when I look at my accounts and add all the “junk” offers to my Delta Blue card. If there are any interesting offers, I check which cards have them and choose “wisely” which card to add them to.
Most of the ones I won't use, I just add on to which ever card I am looking at, at the time. (This is actually one of the few things that is faster and easier through an app on a tablet than on a desktop browser.) But the ones I think I might use, I choose which card I want it on (if I have a choice) and add to a spreadsheet that lists the merchant, the deal, the expiration and the card I put it on.
