Stay split between different room types: How does Hilton/a property handle it?
This question must have been asked plenty of times before, but I can't find it...
I have a 5 night reward stay at a Conrad on Money and Points, with a separate reservation for each night. Due to a shortage of both Money and Points, I've split my reservations into 2 different room categories, first 3 nights in one specific category of suites, the last 2 nights in one specific category of premium rooms.
Do Hilton hotels have a system wide SOP to deal with the above?
Or is it left to each individual property to decide if they want to keep the guest in one category and ideally the same room (naturally in my case I'd hope for keeping me in suites for the entire stay) or oblige the guest to go through with the change as booked?
Personally I'd rate my chances of remaining in the same suite for the entire stay as "possible but slim", so I'm well prepared to move (the premium room category that I booked for my last 2 nights is my preferred type amongst rooms anyway).
Thanks!
