You don't say what age your children are, but BA guarantees that children under 12 will be seated adjacent to at least one adult in the party. Note however that adjacent can mean in front, behind, across the aisle etc in this context, but if they are younger they won't end up at the other end of the cabin.

As has been correctly noted, it should open up to Bronze exactly 7 days ahead of the flight time.
