That's what I ended up booking for an upcoming trip. Ideally, I wanted JFK-BRU / CDG-JFK. I played around with different cities and hit on a JFK-FRA r/t in D1 that was around $1,000 less than what I had been seeing with the other destinations. So I grabbed it and restructured my trip around that; it's a two week trip to multiple countries, so I was able to make it work.
