Thanks for the replies all, in particular behuman.
I’ve completed my last of six domestic Latam flights all within the past two weeks and the only consistency between them was the drinks and a bag of crisps.
Check in
Was given access to priority check in at all locations, except at Manaus where staff member made me use the self service bag tag printer, and then I had to join the queue with everyone else as the priority queue was closed. Bags were tagged with Priority tags except at BSB where they were not (it was too late to ask as the check in agent was too quick). At Manaus I had to ask for the tag to be attached. Priority tagged bags actually seem to get priority.
Food and drink
On all flights, given mineral water bottle during boarding and offered a selection from coffee, fizzy drinks, orange juice.
GRU - IGU: Crisps, Nut Bar, Muffin
IGU - CGH: Crisps, Cookie, Muffin
CGH - BSB: Crisps, Hot sandwich (strange given they say only on flights exceeding 2 hr)
BSB - MAO: Crisps, Nut Bar, Cookie, Hot sandwich
MAO - GRU: Crisps, Nut Bar, Cookie, Muffin (asked for hot sandwich but cabin crew said the plane had too much of a long layover hence they couldn’t be served)
GRU - GIG: Crisps, Nut Bar, Cookie, Muffin
General on board service
Different cabin crew seemed to do things differently, some brought you items individually and returned to the galley each time, others carried items on a tray and others used the trolley.
In all instances staff were polite and friendly.
No enforcement of toilet situation.
On most flights row three despite being ahead of the curtain seemed to be economy class and got drinks and snacks from economy trolley. Not sure what this was all about, can they not move the curtain forward anymore, or is it for some sort of status customers?
As soon as seatbelt sign went off the curtain to front galley was closed and on all flights except the very short one to GIG it was at least 25 minutes before refreshments were served - not sure what staff were doing it was almost if they were preparing for a full meal. Never usually seen the front curtain closed on flights I’ve been on except where there has been an ill passenger on the jumpseat.
Disembarking
Never experienced this anywhere in the world, but they don’t like you getting up even to sort out your bags until your row is announced. As row 1 & 2, you are allowed to alight first.
