I guess - for Geneva at least - it’ll help satisfy the regular complaint of “why should I remain loyal to BA when it’s virtually impossible to spend my hard-earned Avios on the family ski holiday where cash fares are extortionate and the normal reward seats are snapped up in minutes?”
The one-off Sharm flight is more about the PR value.
