Hi, can someone please advise how likely is a swap from one version on the A330 to another?
Flight prices from London to Thailand are horrific this Christmas so I booked TK for the first time (still over £3.5k per person, with long layovers in IST.)
IST-HKT and BKK-IST are on A330s, currently showing as five rows with four rows in the middle, ie full-flat seats. But I was amazed to read a recent trip report of CDG-IST on an A330 with 7 rows of recliner seats, and also to read in this thread about ex-TAM planes with angle-flat seats.
Does anyone know the chances of these flights to Thailand being swapped out for one of these 1990s relics?
