Seats are assigned before you get on the plane - before anyone gets on the plane actually.

If you purchased your tickets on evaair.com, you can get into your reservation and select seats for everyone. Do that as soon as possible. If you don't, then you will be assigned seats when you check in, which risks that you will not all be able to sit together.
