I was meant to be on the BA 868 doing a B2B onto the BA 869 today, this was at the end of a HNL-DFW-JFK-LHR trip. So glad I got a 'bit confused' in the airport (admittedly as well as Wifey having an ear infection). All that waiting around 5 hours+ and an extra overnight in BUD would have been a bit tiresome. There are times when compensation is just not worth it!

For what its worth my commiserations and sympathy do go out to the passengers stuck here and to their ruined travel plans.
