So, I have a question about CK and BA Gold status. I've had both for a long while, and as with CK, BA have continued to extend my Gold status for the past 3 years during Covid, even though I've not flown a single BA flight using my BA Gold membership at all in that time, though I have flown BA metal quite a bit as a CK. Now my final Gold extension is ending in a few months, and I'm debating whether or not it's worth trying to fly BA enough to renew it for next year. It's really not difficult to do, and I could do it with 4 or 5 round trip flights, which I would be flying regardless, but I'm not sure that I gain anything that I don't already get with CK/Emerald status by also being a Gold member. The only thing I can think of that might be valuable is the BA Gold phone line, which gets a fairly quick answer if I ever need to contact them, which I've had to do on the occasional AA code share flight I've taken over the years.
Am I missing any other benefits that BA Gold offers that I'm not already getting with CK when flying BA metal (or other OW partners)?
