My parents never gave me a choice of what to eat and if I didn’t like it I went without, I learnt very quickly, to this day I have never had a Macdonalds but I have had a Wopper but that’s for a different thread. 😝

Hunger is a natural appetite stimulant. My parents took the same approach and it resulted in healthy children who were at the table for dinner when prompted. I'm grateful that I have learnt to be patient in acquiring a taste for more complex flavours. Like you, I've never had a 'Big Mac'. Maybe we have missed out? 😑 Friends like these, as do their kids. fourspoons point, should BA factor in that a percentage of children today like blander food? Serve it in a different way, as some suggest. I'm in my fifties and see that children have so many more choices today. Practically, most children could eat from the adult's menu. Commercially, does it make sense to be more imaginative or offer more choices to children? Personally, I think not.
