I guess I just want some clarity on the process from any veterans out there. If I'm understanding this correctly, I basically have two weeks to shop around for a better deal and if I can't find one, I'll transfer in my points from Amex/Chase a few days prior to the deadline and call to book the award ticket. There's no charge for this, and since SQ doesn't do dynamic award pricing (yet), I'm guaranteed that the award price I reserved is 'fixed' (ie, in 2 weeks I try to transfer points and I won't see that it's suddenly shot up an extra 100k or something crazy.)
Is this correct? Am I missing something?
yes you are correct. There is nothing missing.
