It has been many years since I stayed at Pavilion de la Reine and Relais Christine but I liked both of them. The neighborhoods were far more interesting to me than some of the grander hotels in Paris. I have very fond memories of walking around the Marais or reading my book in Victor Hugo Place when staying at Pavilion de la Reine. Thank you for updating us on these properties.
Definitely a wonderful neighborhood. And so many excellent fromageries, chocolatiers, pātisseries, traiteurs, etc, etc down by St Paul. We did buy some fruit to take back to the hotel but wish we had more time to sample the others. Did a little shopping down by Sevres which seems like a nice area as well, though the Lutetia is also a decent step up in price from the three here.
