Honestly the spiciness was the least of the problems. The overwhelming olive flavour throughout the whole dish and the sloppy aubergine mess were bigger obstacles.

Maybe a higher percentage of kids would eat it than I’m making out but surely under no stretch of the imagination is this a dish you’d expect if you pick a specifically kid friendly option?
