Bringing back prescription drugs marketed under different names abroad
A family member requires a prescription drug that has been in very short supply in the US, Canada and Mexico for several months and is being strictly rationed in Europe.
However participants in a Facebook support group from South Africa, India and the Philippines report report no such constraint in their countries and they're getting their usual 90 day refills without delay. However the drug is marketed under a completely different name in those countries.
The pharmacists of the world know this, I am virtually certain the border guards of the world do not.
Me and my sister have been discussing one of us flying to the other side of the world to get this prescription filled. How might we go about this without the prescription getting confiscated or ending-up in prison?
