I'm the same way, I would not really enjoy this, or any, property at a $1000+ rate per night. We stayed here on points last November, I got in with the old Cat 6 point pricing. The breakfasts here are fantastic so Glob benefit getting those free was a real value as well. I can't imagine not being a globalist and paying a cash rate for this hotel and then on top of that high rate having to pay a silly exorbitant resort fee and then drop an additional $75/pp for breakfast every morning. This place is nice but not worth those kinds of prices which makes this a real aspirational destination for Globs!
