Detailed review of my stay in April 2023

What is your IHG One Rewards status?
Diamond Royal Ambassador Inner Circle

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, very much.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked best flexible rate, used the Confirmable Suite Upgrade, and received One Bedroom Mediterranean Suite.

How are the rooms?
Around 47sqm
Elegant interior design.

Separate entrance with coffee station with kettle and Illy espresso machine and minibar.

One large living room with seating area. Desk

Large television screen with good selection of cable movie channels and international channels.

Bedroom with very comfortable bed.
Usb sockets next to the bed.

Two closets.

Very nice bathroom with bathtub and separate side shower massage jet.
-417 toiletries.

No Chromecast
No free PressReader

Very quiet

Superb view over Jaffa, sea and city.

How is the exec. lounge?
Very nice: two large rooms, one facing the sea, the other facing the city.

Great staff.

Excellent food all day long (fresh salads, hot food options, desserts).

Meeting room

What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
- Attentive and smiling service
- Pleasant outdoor pool (very quiet early morning, not so quiet in afternoon but big enough to have a sun bed without worries).
- Very pleasant club lounge for staff and food.

- Convenient location by the sea. 5 minutes walk from trendy Shabazi Street area. 10 minutes walk to Sderot Rothschild district.
- Nice Mediterranean suite.

BAD
- Nothing

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Points? Would you return?
The hotel is not cheap indeed (prices are getting crazy in Tel Aviv during the Pessa'h: USD 672,75 per night for best flexible rate), but the hotel is very pleasant.
