Flying this bird tomorrow on UA1236 (EWR-PHX). I don't think I have ever flown a bird this new, so I am excited to see what it's like! Appears it will be the 7th revenue flight it has made.
Last week I flew two 737s that were built in 2023. One in late January, the other in late February. Very clean and shiny. Hardly any grease in the wheel well.

The 737s have either the Thales (most of the NGs) or Viasat (MAX and a few -900s) internet systems. Neither provide coverage over the pacific. Viasat is still expanding its coverage with the launch of additional satellites over the next few years so it's a possibility. All narrowbodies will have the Viasat system once the United Next interior retrofit is complete.
