After an extended spell in/out of LCY for work, I've been back to LHR weekly now for several weeks and it is beyond infuriating. Why do they not "open up" the lanes to let the "gate lice" that want to hang around anxiously to make sure they are boarded first queue up instead of blocking the entire thoroughfare. Why announce boarding, but not open the eGates until the 50 people who want to check in their hand-luggage are all processed?
I have seen some general improvement in service levels on-board of late, but the T5 experience is going from bad to worse.
