As I started the thread, I had exactly the same reaction and will travel next week in Y with wifey. Aisle and window seat on A333, not worth the 13K price difference (for 2) to get nearly similar food and service.
And we get lounge access anyway as OWE.
Snappy: Not so much. I, as a reader, get the impression (intended or not) with this writing, I should follow sklo's decision, whereas several people in this thread already explained their preference for J, independent of, etc.
