Does this mean in a LeMeridien in the USA I don't need to tip afterall? Also leaves me with an issue in a St Regis in Japan, do I insult them as they work in a NYMade hotel?
More seriously I appreciate why food prices are high in Maldives, the time and effort taken to get things to resorts is immense. Equally the same meal costs a lot more at a St Regis than say Westin, so I expect it to be prepared better and enjoy it in better surroundings. Often if feels like while thr surroundings maybe better the quality of food is however no better, which is where there could be improvement.
