I called today after previously being rejected via email and was given a flat No. Escalation to supervisor was refused. Tried to explain that they created an incentive to wait until the last minute, their latest reminder was weeks before the deadline and I was traveling at the time of the deadline, which they could see by the records. All to no avail.
