Of course I have not yet found out officially if AC would check my bags all the way through from BKK to MCO. I would imagine, if an airline books all connecting flights on the same ticket, that they would be responsible for transferring the checked luggage to any and all connecting flights. I would imagine if AC does that then some passengers may just want to stay at the airport in transit instead of going through Canadain immigration and customs. It would not be our preference but it may be an option for others. I wonder why AC did not make our YUL/MCO connection on the 19:30 PM flight instead of connecting us on the next morning's flight? Do they not realize the kind of problem that poses for passengers with a lot of checked luggage? Not really complaining as it may just be AC's policy not to transfer luggage with connections greater than a certain amount of hours.
