For #2, though, I think that might be tough. They're usually pretty full and I don't think there are very many 2Q rooms to begin with.
Hmm, thanks. That #2 answer is a little concerning, 21 day cancellation policy and there's no way they'd be able to guarantee a 2Q room before then if there wasn't standard award availability right? Worst case scenario is no upgrade and 1 king bed. That'd be very problematic. Dang. And no availability at Hyatt Regency either that weekend. Am I missing options besides paying cash? (I would consider it but losing rhe guest of honor benefit would be a deal breaker, half the reason I'm excited sending her is the breakfast!)
