Another great ex-CDG LP trip. Ground Service at CDG cannot be beat (and GS at JFK on arrival was also stellar.) Lounge was festive for Easter weekend with chocolates & a special menu (although the Easter dessert was very so-so.) My first coquilettes, tasty, but not mind-blowing (blasphemy here, I know ) And do not be alarmed at the portion size, went with a half-order.

I did comment to the Lounge staff on the decrease in quality of the Lounge champagnes, and that they were not really fitting of an FC lounge, but later in the trip realized it’s the phenomenal GS that’s everything for me, so c’est la vie on the bubbles. Yes, I asked for the Dom. No, I do not rate to get it. 😭 And yes, I took one for the team and tried the Jeeper bubbles. Undrinkable, sorry.

Inflight service was excellent. Full cabin. No paper menus unf. Bubbles still the Rare ’06 which is drinking beautifully rn. Ate lightly. The previous caviar prep which was great, is no more. Went with the vegetarian option, Asparagus Ravioles, which were more like dumplings and one of the best things I’ve eaten on a plane (and I’m not particularly crazy about asparagus.) Very flavorful, not too heavy. There was a lamb option and fish ?? (from what I could glean from the FA’s written menu.) The ice cream speaks for itself in the photo, freezer burned and sad.

At the end of the day for me, it’s the LP team that makes the experience as amazing as it is. They are really superstars - so kind and they make the journey seamless. So the bad Lounge bubbles, menu glitches, etc. are noted, but overall LP truly shines for me.
