Hi All! I'm hoping y'all can give me an idea of what my chances of a waitlist clearing to upgrade a flight using points.
My mom is flying to TLV from SFO on April 15, flight 954, the first leg of the trip is flight 5417 from PSP. The option to upgrade cabin is there for 35K miles and $450. Really only concerned with the SFO-TLV leg getting upgraded.

Seems like a great deal! It'll involve transferring 15k miles from Chase Rewards to top me up and then I can request to waitlist.

Any thoughts?
