I'm not sure what this means. Because CDG-DOH doesn't have F and, even though there are (in theory) 3 CDG-DOH flights available on that day, the only onward flight in F was the sole daily A380. All transits are within 24 hours. Nowhere during the booking process was the distinction between what constitutes a "stopover" versus "transit" was made clear to me. Does this mean that I only qualify when the timing between arrival to, and departure from, DOH is the shortest connection at the time of booking? But what if seats aren't available for that shortest connection, would the next longer connection apply?
Personally I'd stop stressing over trying to understand QR logic. The rule has always been that if there is a shorter connection then STPC won't apply - the F cabin thing is an untested theory and trying to apply an untested theory through QR customer services is just a no go. The rules will be followed, even if they don't make sense.

You can get a cheap paid stopover through Discover Qatar, I would pay for that instead and stop wasting your time with trying to persuade QR to give you STPC.
