What is going on with AF/KL codesharing with FB [Bulgaria Air] ?

For years Air France and KLM have had either nonstop flights to Sofia operated by AF on CDG-SOF or codeshared with Bulgaria Air on AMS-SOF. Looks like this winter AF has cancelled their own flights to Sofia for the entire calendar and stopped codesharing with FB. That means that one would need to connect via OTP or FCO when traveling from North America via CDG or AMS to get to Sofia on SkyTeam adding an extra connection.

I cannot find any information about whether this is a temporary status quo or a strategic decision which would mean I need to call to get my flight from North America to Sofia fixed adding extra connections. Bulgaria Air ignored my email asking them about codesharing with Air France/KLM. Is there a way to learn what is going on? Thank you!
