Here are a pair of really easy questions for all you pros out there: if my plane from the US arrives at CDG 2E at 8:00 a.m. on a mid-June weekday, what's the absolute fastest way to get to Passy (16th arr.)? It looks to me as though it's roughly a push between RER B + RER A (for where I'm going) on the one hand versus a taxi on the other -- maybe 70 minutes? And second, what kind of wait at that hour for passport control?
