IME buying from third-party websites usually comes out a bit cheaper than buying directly from the airline (except notably in the case of LH Group). The tradeoff being, of course, that if anything goes south, dealing with the OTA is a much bigger pain than dealing directly with the airline.

AFAIK there is no such thing as a price guarantee for TAP. How much was the price difference in question?
