Hello,
I was just pricing up a couple of J fares (Classic) LHR > BKK for November and again in January.
Eye wateringly expensive imho, however what stuck me as odd was this; the outbound prices @ £1458 but the inbound as £2407. The fares are identical for both Nov and Jan departures. If I choose to route the inbound as BKK > HKG > HEL> LHR, the fare drops to £1730!
My past experience is that the inbound is always cheaper, is this a glitch? I havn't tried phoning Fiinnair.
Thoughts.
Did you check, what HELL/class you are supposed to fly BKK-HKG ?
My experience is, HEL-SIN/HKG (return) is less booked than HEL-BKK, as such, they try to divert pax via HKG/SIN.
