Property: Westin Hilton Head SC

Room booked: King Bed, Island View
Room received: Carolina King Suite
Elite Level: Titanium

Comments: Really good staff. Third floor of hotel is currently under renovation and needed - the suite was nice but tired. Full breakfast offered as welcome amenity but I think it would normally be continental buffet only

Property: JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside GA
Date(s): March 2023
Room booked: King Atrium View
Room received: King, River View (Three Muses building)
Elite Level: Titanium
Award stay: No
SNAs redeemed: No
Comments: Really pleased with the upgrade - Atrium View would have been quite noisy and Three Muses building is very calming. Really liked the hotel overall - although as it is over a number of buildings, it takes time to get to places (e.g. pool in Atlantic building). Good staff (valet, pool, etc). Breakfast amenity bizarre - can get 2 grab and go items per person or only a $8 credit per person against a seated breakfast which is certainly not sufficient

Property: The Whitley Atlanta GA
Date(s): April 2023
Room booked: King
Room received: King Higher Floor
Elite Level: Titanium
Award stay: No
SNAs redeemed: No
Comments: There was a lot to like about this hotel but I can't quite understand how it is branded as a Luxury Collection. Saying that, the price was reasonable compared to other Bonvoy properties nearby. No coffee maker in room but complimentary coffee downstairs in the mornings. Excellent pool. Lounge is closed at weekends so full breakfast buffet offered
