Glasgow International Airport (GLA) is located about 13 km (8 miles) west of Glasgow city center. There are several hotels within walking distance of the airport, including:
- Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport: This hotel is located just across the road from the airport terminal, so it's the closest option. It takes less than five minutes to walk to the hotel from the terminal.
- Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport: This hotel is located just a little further away than the Holiday Inn, but still within walking distance. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the terminal.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express a couple of times for silly O'Clock crack of dawn departures and was happy with it, and they will lay on a basic breakfast from 4am for those very early departures (normal breakfast with cooked items is from 6.00am onwards). It and the Holiday Inn are the two closest to the terminal (not that the others are hugely far anyway).
