Just booking a first/business class seat CAI-DOH-IAD for our return trip from Cairo - very first time flying Qatar and the Q suites. I scored these seats for about $1450 each on the AA website, which I thought was a great price for a business seat with a flat bed for the 14 hr flight from DOH-IAD - so treating ourselves for the first time ever!

Per the Qatar website, flight from CAI to DOH is on an A-350/1000 and DOH to IAD is a 777-200/300, but the seatmaps are exactly the same for both flights. There is just one first/business cabin with 2-4-2 configuration and 12 rows of seats. For two people, is it best to book one rear facing and one forward facing seat together OR book 2 window seats so you are not by the aisle and have a bit more privacy and quiet. Also, is it best to select seats in row 1 or closer to the front to get away for bathroom and gallery noise?
