Hello, I'll soon be flying MAD-HKG-NRT return.

MAD-HKG arrives 0655 and HKG-NRT departs 0120. Would CX at MAD short-check my baggage to HKG (given the connection is not really overnight)? How long would the wait for the baggage be at HKG in the early morning hours? Thinking of bringing Spanish wine to HK friends.

I am OWS through IB, flying PE MAD-HKG and Y HKG-NRT, would CX give me fast track security at MAD & NRT?

At HKG I will try to upgrade the HKG-NRT to PE (my fare basis is E but there was no PE on HKG-NRT at the time of booking), would this be easier airside (transfer desk, lounge?) or landside check-in desks (aisle B for OWS?) or is there a dedicated ticketing area (unlike BA at LHR)?
