Hallmark Flowers must be related to FTD
Well, after reading all the negative experiences on here regarding FTD I decided to try Hallmark Flowers via AAdvantage. Only 6 miles/$1, then doubled wit MC, but I just wanted to give a small token of appreciation to a coworker at another location. Didn't want to waste hard-earned e-reward points for FTD; plus Hallmark has free handling (saves $9.95) and includes a nice card. The Hallmark site has to be the worst web buying experience I've ever encountered. It let me select what I wanted but then when I went to purchase, it chokes up. Blank screen. Tried about 10 times over the course of the day. E-mailed cust service, they suggested something, tried it 5 times and viola site was now asking for my credit card. But, you guessed it, put in the cc and again a blank screen, then nothing. Received an order confirmation e-mail, which was a relief--until I checked the status. Status shows "backordered". Phoned customer service and after 15 minutes am told they actually aren't backordered and he'd be glad to cancel my online order and place it for me over the phone. No Way--I want my lousy 300 AA miles after all I've been through! Am told if the flowers don't show up when they're supposed to on Wednesday, call back. So glad we are able to share and vent here with other fanatics. I can't tell my family as they just roll their eyes and suggest I've gone off the deep end.
